About Me

Paul Buijs (like “mouse” with a “B.”)

I am not the fastest, biggest or strongest but I am out there doing it.  Everyday.
obstacle racer, runner, cyclist, body weight exerciser

I’m an independent New York City based web developer and internet marketer.  I get to harness  both my interest for web marketing and my passion for the  exploding sport of obstacle races and mud runs  as  founder of  Mud and Adventure - the #1 site for finding a race to do anywhere in the world. In my  non-existent free time I enjoy cycling, SCUBA diving and digital photography and creative photo editing.

Photography: I like capturing urban environments – specifically transportation and architecture. While at home in New York City I can be found snapping pics of obscure things such as water towers, bicycles, motorcycles and the over photographed yellow taxi cab.

Fitness: I enjoy the freedom and confidence that comes with a high level of fitness. I’m always trying to push my personal barriers in pullups and other body weight exercises and running.  I love to bike (road and mountain) and SCUBA dive.

Adventure: Life is short. I want to experience as much of it as possible. I’ve been lucky to be able to have already done a lot and have quite  bit left on that mother of all to-do lists.
